just saw the film today (really great!!)

when Ahmad opened the visor and some pamphlet fell out then he told Marie to keep it safe otherwise someone will see it (or something to that effect) what did he mean? then she gave it to Samir and said the same thing?

I'm sure it's something obvious I missed. the camera cut away too fast. sorry if it's a dumb question!

I believe it was some form of ID for Samir, perhaps a passport. It's the first tip-off to Ahmad that Marie-Anne is seeing someone else, because he sees a man's photo among the papers. He takes that in stride -- he wouldn't expect her to be celibate, four years later -- so it's a nice touch that he's still taken aback when he learns that they are living together and planning on marriage.
