The Goodfellas scene

Wow. Not quite the fourth wall, but pretty interesting.

In this film (The Family), when they pull Giovanni (De Niro) up to the stage in the theater and ask him to 'debate' the film, he starts telling a story from a point of view of a character in yellow in Goodfellas, saying something like he was a real criminal.

I haven't seen Goodfellas in awhile. Was that character there?

It should be noted up front for those not aware that Scorsese was an executive producer on The Family.
