Maybe there is a way to make someone turning into a lunatic every time their girlfriend talks to another person for two minutes funny but this wasn't it.

This was just sad and uncomfortable.

It was rather excruciating at times.

Ditto, I was trying to feel sorry for the guy but he was coming off creepy.

It's hard to root for a creepy character.
