shareDark City is also a masterpiece. I Robot wasn't bad, and even Knowing has a certain charm to it. Gods of Egypt wasn't perfect but it wasn't nearly as bad as the critics would have you believe. I found it to be refreshingly traditional with a lot of great visuals, and by the end I cared about the characters.
shareI was about to say Dark City is tremendous too. I agree GoE wasn't "That" bad but it was still pretty bad nevertheless.
Not sure what Happened to Proyas, he seemed to be becoming a very influential director with a very fresh approach but then he sort of disappeared in the 2000s.
I heard after filming "I, Robot", Proyas was offered the opportunity to direct X-Men 3: The Last Stand, but refused because of creative differences between him and Fox during the filming of "I, Robot".
