Can't wait!

I've missed ryan phillippe in films...as a main character. Glad he came back in Lincoln lawyer....but Matthew was the focus. I've always been a huge fan of phillippe!! Seen every single movie he's been in. I really am taking an interest because not only is he the main character, but is directing and writing this film also!! Hoping for a home run.

I thought the movies "straight a's" was terrible and believe me I LOVE Phillippe...also I love all of his movies. I appreciate the fact that he likes to pick and chose his roles. I thought the movie in general sucked. What about you? I really hope he redeems himself.

IDK what happened with that film. Good actors. Good acting. The film was a mess. The editing just didn't seem to happen. It's surprising how slap dash a film can be, or maybe it's not.

Anyway, I like certain scenes very much. It will stay in my collection for those. Other than that, bleh.

YES! It was a mess for sure. The acting was great, but the movie had no real plot...I lost interest almost immediately. If Ryan wasn't in this movie I probably wouldn't of even watched it to begin with, but if somehow stumbled upon it I would have turned it off and threw it away. It actually pained me to finish. I'm really crossing my fingers for Shreveport.

Well, we're well off topic. But Straight A's is a classic example of a film that was failed post production. The story had some very tight scenes. But it's rather like a student film that never pulled together into a cohesive film.

Whatever happens with Shreveport, I have no doubt that all due diligence is being paid in post as well as every other aspect.
