Is this show just a promotional tool for New York City?

Don't get me wrong, I love New York. But I can't help noticing that some of the people who needs help with their dogs are demi-celebrities. Tonight's episode features Russell Simmons' personal assistant. I mean really, out of 8+ million people in New York City, THAT'S who needs help with their dog(s)? It seems that this show just serves the purpose of promoting/advertising the city itself, with the shots of the cities and mention of specific neighborhoods.

Sure - that's part of it.

But, it's not a bad show. I'm not even a dog-person and I've been entertained by the couple of episodes I've seen.

No, it's a promotional tool for Justin Silver.
