I Just Saw This...Don't Make My Mistake.

The ONLY reason I had any interest in watching this was because Nazanin Boniadi (Fara from "Homeland") was in this. According to IMDb, she had top billing. So I figured, sure, I'll watch it. After all, even if the movie isn't very good, Nazanin is hot, so that would make up for it to some extent. NOT EVEN CLOSE!!!! NB is only in one scene at the very beginning for about a minute. Yes! About a minute of screen time. Time it! Somehow IMDb believes she was going to get top billing for that. In the actual credits of the movie, she gets 4th billing. I don't know how she got such high billing for so little screen time.

The movie itself was a frickin' bore fest. Snooze fest. Call it whatever you want. It wasn't good. Watching paint dry would've been better, because at least you expect it to be boring if you watch paint dry, and nobody is saying Nazanin Boniadi is going to be staring in "watch paint dry." I know Iran has a very repressive regime, but couldn't they have made it about something more worthwhile? Nope. It had to be made about these people in the movie not being allowed to dance. I guess the sequel might be about them not being able to brush with Crest, or not be able to buy Hebrew National Hot Dogs. I don't know. All I can say is, if there's a sequel made, there won't be a sequel played in my computer.

I gave this a 2-star rating. One star for the one minute Nazanine Boniadi was actually in the movie. The other star is for the talent it took to bore the heck out of me. Believe it or not, that does count as a talent, but not one anyone in this film should be proud of.

I thought your review of the movie was boring and ego centered. Nobody cares if you only like one actress because of her looks.

I think you should shorten or retract your review. You embarrass yourself.

The only ego here is you. So having an opinion is a crime here? Hey buddy, the actress the OP wanted to watch was the ONLY 100% full-blooded Iranian who had any meaningful role in the movie. If she is billed prominently yet has only a one minute scene then the makers of this movie have conned the audience. BTW, I think it's disgusting that they could get only ONE Iranian for any of the main roles - shows what the makers of the movie REALLY think about the people they're trying to portray! What a pathetic propaganda piece this movie is! I see plenty of people complaining on the boards whenever a 'B' grade Actioner or a low-budget Horror movie has their favorite actor in a cameo role when the makers of the movie have them featured prominently on the DVD cover or the main credits - it's a common thing ... why get so worked up about it?

Hello, I understand where you are coming from. Nazanin Boniadi is one of my favorite actress. Also, I thought she had a more important role in the film. Now saying that I think the reason she received top billing on imdb is because of the time she came into the film. Sometimes when they bill people on imdb is when they appear on screen. So, Nazanin Boniadi part as small and at the beginning of the film. So, she appeared on imdb at the top, but also had top billing because of her name. Many times actors may be on the cover of a film or get top billing, but only have a small part. Not that I am an expert at all, but maybe this is what happened here. Just a thought. Have a nice day.
