NO lead Iranian actors in a movie about Iranians!

Wow. So the level of propaganda against Iran (a country that hasn't attacked anyone for the past 200 years) by The West (responsible for the massacre of The Native Americans, dropping a bomb on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, and all-out general warmongering) has reached ridiculous levels with the release of this movie. Amazing. An Iranian-based movie ... with literally NO Iranians in the cast - which shows the level of contempt the filmmakers have for the country and the people of Iran! Hey all you hypocrites in the West, if you're going to show how "oppressed" the Iranian people are, then why don't you drop the sanctions that's crippling their economy? Better yet, why don't you show the whole the REAL TRUTH that The Ayatollah (who seems to be a fave bad guy in The West) was initially a puppet placed into power by the CIA? Or that the whole fiasco with Iran stems from the fact that Iranian Leader Mossadegh (a DEMOCRATICALLY ELECTED LEADER) was ousted with the help of the CIA/Mosad/MI5? Or is that too much truth for you dullards?

Oh, and PLEASE stop casting Frida Pinto in roles. She can't act to save her life and most Indians can't stand her - I should know as I'm Indian. Is it too much to ask for Persians to be cast in roles suited for them?

One of the movie's executive producers is Mohammed Al Turki, a wealthy Saudi, and director Richard Raymond is son of Jack Raymond, a British/Jewish businessman and supporter of the pro-Isreali Zionist Federation UK. Saudi Arabia and Israel are waging a propaganda war against Iran at the moment. Coincidence?

Excellent analysis - I'm not surprised that it's the main beneficiaries of the petro-Dollar that's financing such nonsense ... this movie does absolutely NOTHING except show the rest of the world how insipid the west's propaganda has become ... amusing how nothing is being shown as to how oppressive he country was BEFORE the Shah was overthrown .. as if these bozos dancing in the picture would EVER have gotten the chance to dance in the country even if Khomeni was not in power ... speaking of The Mullahs, why no talk of how they wee groomed by the west and that Khomeni himself was given safe refuge in Paris prior to the so-called "Revolution"? BTW, I think it's a FRIGGIN' JOKE that there are hardly any Iranians cast in a movie about them ... you can just smell the contempt the makers of this movie have for the true common people of Iran a mile away. Just my two cents...

Is there some quota system in effect to make a movie believable? An Iranian movie without an Iranian is just that. Must an American Western movie have an Indian in an Indian role?

What a ridiculous thread from the OP!
