I felt awkward just trying to watch this

With the way Rad acted, and his level of immaturity, his parents wouldn't have let him wander about by himself like that. He!l, they might not have let him cross the street by himself. The film would have been much better were the main character drawn a bit less like a caricature. In general, the film was too earnest to be a spoof, but the presence of too many cartoonish characters made it seem as though that was almost the direction the movie was trying to go.
