Very Disappointed

The ads and reviews of this movie talked about how heartbreaking it was. I didn't see any passion, or hearts to break. Haynes seemed to have filmed a DISSERTATION on a romance, regardless of sexual preference, than a real one with (get this people who have experienced the powerful and often painful feelings of love) EMOTION. I KNOW it was the '50's and its the "love that dare not speak its name", but even when they were alone there was nothing, nada, bupkis. Haynes filmed an exercise in style, like "Far From Heaven".I get it, Todd, you loved Douglas Sirk, and camp, and irony. Next time make a movie with HEART. Very disappointing.
