I have never seen an awards show so bad and as said before Russel Brand is not funny and not suited for this show!
I was able to sit through the whole thing, and was miserable the whole time lol. It helped watching it with my boyfriend so I could vent and talk through it. I watched it to see Michael Fassbender, should've just waited for someone to post his clip on Youtube lol.
I agree Russel Brand does not fit hosting this, a lot of his jokes did not entertain the audience, you're lucky you stopped at 24 mins, because it didn't get better. All you missed was MTV's version of advertising upcoming films with lame skits/ dialogue, Kristen Stewart's predictable annoyance, and forced audience cheers. =)
i watched the whole show ......i agree with you on Russel Brand,he was a bad choise.but i think it wasn't that bad,it had some good moments the clip they made for Emma Stone,chaning tatum,Jonny Depp and the songs.

shareI waited until it was on demand so I could fast foward through that twilight fest I knew it would be. I only stopped to watch Chris Hemsworth, but of course I had also watch that drugged up fleabag, Kristen Stewart. Then I stopped to watch Emma Watson present and accept the award for best cast. Other than that I couldn't stand listening to Russel Brand's annoying voice, and Harry Potter being shafted once again for its rightfully deserved awards. But I don't know why I expected much more, the MTV Awards hasn't been good since Lord of the Rings last came out.
