The good news is that Tex isn't dead.

The bad news is he's been brainwashed and is now a bad guy... on Agents of SHIELD. When I saw him I yelled "TEX!" and began pointing at my screen. Same character and same skills but turned bad. (Yeah, the actor is running with the look and mannerism over on ABC.)
