Nobody else liked the char Takehaya?`SPOILERS

I was exited to think he could be a member of the crew. I feel there was a lost opportunity to get a new "mysterious" character adding stuff to the show. Also would have opened a door to go back to Asia and Japan when, say as a example, they find information about some survivors. So when they ran out of material to write for the show for what to do in USA they just go to Asia and fix Japan or something. Then they have EU to fix also. Get some nationality mix going.
Well, just wanted to say that. I liked the character of Takehaya, also for what he could have been.

I thought he had awesome presence and would have created an interesting arc from being a pirate to redeeming himself as an ally.

I wish that guy had some sort of backstory development. He sure deserved it.
