Didn't recognize Rick Worthy

Apparently he's never been in anything I've really watched - the McDonald's commercial was familiar. I'm not commenting on his acting skill, just surprisingly he was the only one I didn't recognize at all. Half the other guys I know their names and will tune into something just because they're in it. I mean, why else would you watch Drop Dead Diva if not for Bruce Davison?

This was a pretty good assembly of actors for the topic. Half of the guys really were, to me, "That guy who was in that thing." And I tend to know a ton of obscure actors names and the movies and tv shows.

My favorites as far as great character actors, the ones in everything...
Xander Berkeley
Bruce Davison

Bruce Campbell
Gerrit Graham
J.T. Walsh
Philip Baker Hall
Jeffrey Tambor
Stephen Lee
Keith David
Blu Mankuma
John Glover
John Michael Higgins

And many more.

Kinda surprised they didn't interview Stephen Tobolowsky. He's like the #1 guy when it comes to being "that guy who was in that thing" :-)

Then again, maybe they did try to get him, and he wasn't interested.

I also thought it was odd they didn't get any female character actors. Of course, then it wouldn't be "that GUY who was in that thing". Maybe if they do a follow-up, they'll interview some of the ladies.

I recognized Ricky Worthy mostly from his roles on "Supernatural", "Eyes", "Murder One" and "Star Trek". I didn't know that was him who played the android on "Star Trek: Voyager", but he was wearing a mask that completely covered his face in that.

I bring you Fifteen Comman--(smash)...Ten Commandments!

reply

Because Drop Dead Diva is a very good show.

To me, He'll always be a cylon in Battlestar Galactica.

reply

Exactly. That's the only place I knew him from.

I want the doctor to take your picture so I can look at you from inside as well.

I know I'd seen him in a few things and I recognized him right away but I couildn't remember one thing he was in. I think he was in there as the opposite of Bruce Davison who everybody recognizes off the bat.
