I wonder how many total actors they reached out to...
Because, as I'm sure is the case with many of you, while they made a lot of great choices, there's easily at least a dozen more worthy actors I can think of that would've been equally as interesting.
For one thing, I have to say what a great idea this documentary even was. I've had (what I feel is likely more than most) a great appreciation for character actors over the years. One of the greatest of all time is sadly no longer with us, hasn't been for awhile, and that's J.T. Walsh.
although I wasn't all that impressed with whoever the director and/or cameraman was on this thing. Particularly for the Robert Joy footage, what was the person behind the camera having a seizure while interviewing him? Unnecessarily all over the place.
But one of the things that kinda cracked me up was how wide the spectrum was, at least for my personal perspective as a viewer. That is, on one hand you have a guy like Zeljko Ivanek, who arguably shouldn't even be in this film because of how prolific and successful he has been (yea he's never really had any "leading man" roles, but I think you know what I mean), while at the same time the British guy with the black hair, even after they flashed up his name and credits, I still didn't really recognize who he was.
Bruce Davison is another one who is questionably too big to be included in something like this.
