similar to Festival in Cannes

This reminded me a lot of the 2001 feature, Festival in Cannes, which was about an indie producer trying to seduce a major European star to appear in a offbeat movie with a shoestring budget, and of the resultant challenges in trying to raise the money. Both films even have vaguely similar poster designs. While Festival was a feature and not a documentary I found it had much the similar feeling (the 95/5 principle) and lots of atmosphere, and like present film was ultimately insightful but a little frustrating.
