The movie starts off in a convoluted fashion, basically just lots of high speed driving and snarly talk and bullet storms. Really boring, been done a million times before. The plot is just so typical it's pathetic. I couldn't really muster the interest to figure out who all the people were. You basically just watch a couple hours of run and gun with no significant plot. Am I right?

Haha that's a great way to describe it. Reminded me of a made for TV action mini series or something too. Everything was long winded and slowly paced, like they were stretching literally every scene to hit a certain run-time.
It wasn't confusing really, just pedestrian and rather boring. It just kind of goes through the motions without anything interesting or fun behind it. The only that even made it a 6 was that the action was old school and didn't use a lot of CGI.

Dumb movie, cliche plots, the hot neighbor sleeps with the guy and suddenly he's in love, the only guy our hero should hate and kill (for killing his baby mamma) is the only one he lets live, etc.
