I'm up to Season 2 Episode 6. Maybe I fell asleep and missed these things, but...

Does it ever show how Odum was responsible for Ballard's loss of a leg?

Is the little British boy supposed to be Odum as a child? Is that a lead up to finally finding out who Odum is?

I get that there's a guy (is he MI6?) who is being blackmailed for having a gay encounter. I'm not clear who that is. As I recall, it's a flashback - so, is it Odum's father. Do we find out why those characters are significant?

Yes, it does show how Odum was responsible for Ballard's loss of his leg, but I can't remember which episode shows it.

Yes, the little British boy is supposed to be Odum as a child. It all becomes clear later. He is not actually a little British boy.

The guy being blackmailed for having the gay encounter is not his father, it's his MI6 handler, Terrence.

You didn't fall asleep; it's very fast-moving and if you blink you miss things. I had to watch the series twice to understand it.

You are welcome. Enjoy watching the rest of the series. It's brilliant. I am just so sad it was cancelled and we don't get a satisfying end.
