I really enjoyed this show! So stupid to kill it prematurely

I have watched many great series over the years. I think the 2nd season of Legends was about as good as dramatic tv gets. Doesnt TNT have someone around to watch their own programs? Someone to inform the management that this was one of the best shows not just on their channel, but all of tv? They keep renewing garbage like Major Crimes, and Rizzoli and Isles. Iwnstead of killing this great show, they should have found a way to build an audience, and make this one of their flagship programs.
I am not going to watch any new shows on TNT for a long time. Until it seems like the show has some real legs to keep it going. How can I get Netflix to pick this up and finish Martin Odems story.

I agree. TNT bears the responsibility for messing this up. They had a great show in their worthless hands. Ggrrrh. To answer your question, I guess to email Netflix or post on their Twitter or FB pages. I've seen a couple comments on A & E's FB page asking them to pick it up. Some people started a #DONTCANCELLEGENDS campaign on Twitter, but it doesn't seem to have much traction.

The first season was unoriginal garbage.

The second season, while riveting, suffered from the ratings drop of season 1. It never had a chance.

The pilot episode was intriguing and set up a promising plot. Unfortunately the rest of the season stank. Season 2 was amazing and suffered because of the terrible marketing by TNT.

Sean Bean's must see roles: Accused, TLOTR, Ronin, Clarissa, Essex Boys, GOT, Sharpe, Black Death

I liked the first season. Haven't seen second yet, I may not bother if its going to not going to get a proper ending.

I watched both seasons, and I preferred the second. I thought it was excellent.

During season 2, you do find out who Martin is, and the main questions about his identity are answered although there are still some gaps in his history because obviously they thought there would be a third season. It also ends with a bit of a plot cliff-hanger. So ... you decide. lol. I was glad I watched the second season but mad as h*ll that there will be no third season.

S2 is a proper story, with a beginning, a middle and an end.

It's pretty good. I thought S1 was OK, but S2 was much, much better.

Totally Agree dwoods84121

Having worked in TV for 5 years (film for 5), I can confirm what a bunch of talentless *beep* tv execs are. I thought this program was EXCELLENT (of course, I love spy craft, and international stories). The series totally worked for Sean Bean's strengths - I mean, what a range of characters! I was SO LOOKING FORWARD to season 3. TNT YOU BASTARDS!
I am VERY disappointed they left it with Alexi/ Alex/Dmitri/Martin in a Russian jail. My one criticism was the fact that they left a bunch of Russian/ Chechnya/ Chech dialogue UN-subtitled, especially the last scene with his Russian handler. If they don't bring this series back like they did Longmire (another fav of mine), then they need to re-edit those missed sequences.

GODDAMN TNT TV EXecs to hell! - you stupid *beep* a 7.5 rating, and you didn't let it continue? Netflix, PICK IT UP!!! And if you're a fan of the show, Make Some Goddamn Noise! This was really well-done.

I would love to see Netflix pick this up, even if we only got one more season. Right now it feels like a two-legged stool. Needs a third leg.

It isn't 'killed' at all. He's stuck in a cell. He truly doesn't want to go on. They seem to think they reined in the ideal double agent because he was 'brought up' British. Well, if so, then isn't he British? And you know what they say, you can't stop being somebody.

And, yes, he did fall for her. She makes him feel respected, attractive, needed, loved, appreciated. Those are powerful stimulants.
