Am I the only one who thinks Edgar, played by Rick Hurst's son Ryan, is the most interesting character in this feeble and mind-numbingly predictable PI versus the Cops procedural? Edgar is the only reason I tune in to see it.

And I wish they would give Michael O'Keefe more to do than just stand around scowling and sniping at the PI's. He's just phoning it in and depositing a paycheck right now. He's a fine actor and he deserves more than this.

I'm trying hard to like this show, but it's one of the least original PI/Cops show I've seen in a long time. The scripts I've seen so far read like rejects from any one of several dozen buddy/cop/PI shows of the past two decades.

And don't call me Shirley!

I was wondering about Edgar too. He is pretty cool.

Heh I had no idea who Rick Hurst was. I know Ryan Hurst from Sons of Anarchy though. He was great in it too.

I'm trying hard to like this show, but it's one of the least original PI/Cops show I've seen in a long time.

It's kinda terrible. The writing is completely unrealistic and predictable. They are trying so hard, they phone every twist in.
It feels like an 80ies show, sometimes, with the silly tropes like two PIs (I don't care who they were before, that's who they are now) leading an investigation into a shooting at the FBI while the Feds just stand around like morons? Yeah, right.

Yeah, I thought that was pretty funny too. A shooting in an FBI building and the investigation gets taken over by a couple of PIs who happenned to be in the building. I think the FBI have people that know how to investigate murders.

Edgar is really the only reason I watch the show too. I started watching it because of Jon Tenney...but I continue to watch it because of Ryan Hurst.

The show is really kind of boring.

I've never seen anything that Jon Tenney has been in so I was interested in him too but like you said Ryan Hurst steals the show!
