Disappointed

I really wanted to like this show. I greatly enjoyed Jon Tenney on the Closer. I watched three episodes and was greatly disappointed. it was the same women are smart, men are dumb. And I'm a woman. King came across as so stupid there is no way he would have made it in the Secret Service. I wonder if in the books, King is as incompetent? The only character I cared about was Edgar.
