Real Life Killing In Charlize Theron's Family

Only thing I know about this movie is the description on IMDB.
But it's description of Theron's family being killed when she was young,
reminded me she witnessed her Dad being shot by her Mom in self-defense in real life.

We will never really know if the mother didn't shoot him for heritage or something alike. There's no shooting in self defense in this kind of circunstance.
There's always several solutions.

Sure, self-defense lol
Theres an annoying drunk everyday, he annoys, probably slaps you, but you are 10 years with the guy alive and healthy. The next day you bring a gun and shoot him in the head. This is not self defense.

Staying with him and having his child was HER choice, as was shooting her unarmed husband.
Don't fool yourself.

Actually he wasn't unarmed, he returned home from a night of drinking with his also drunk brother,he was armed with a shotgun. He fired several shots and screamed to his wife he was going to kill her and Charlize, he then fired a shot into Charlize's bedroom, that is when her mother took a hand gun and fired back, she killed her husband and wounded his brother.According to eye witnesses and backed up by evidence. Hardly an unarmed man, and definitely self defense as she was shot at first multiple times

You are a piece of work!

nobody lives forever...

reply

"shoot him for heritage" ??? what does that even mean
and how much do you even know about domestic violence?

reply

Banana, you, sir, are a *beep* moron.

reply

Anyone who molests a child deserves to be murdered, potential alterior motives doesn't matter

I'm gonna refuse you an offer you can't make

reply

@Cecil

reply

Banana Warrior might be the dumbest poster I've seen on IMDB in a while. A lobbyist for drunken abusive husbands or just pure idiocy?

reply

I'm sure Banana just does it for the 'heritage'.

For me, the troll tip-off was his use of the word "healthy." Well, troll, or what you said, itz_theo; hopefully the former.

reply

He's trolling and doing a good job at it :D

reply

Yep...

Never really could understand the thinking of people who deliberately do that to others on these boards... 

Hopefully, we can get Banana some psychological help while it can still be effective. Keep the peace F&S. :)

Seriously, why bring this up again? It was a terrible time in the actress's life and it has nothing to do with this film. I mean, give a rest, please.
