Disturbing Movie

I must say that I can't stop thinking about this film, which I saw over a week ago. And I mean this in a positive way.

This is the most distressing film that I have seen since Good and Bad at Games (1983), another movie about bullying and a victim's confrontation of bullies as an adult. I found both of these movies hit me at a far deeper level than your normal horror and violence stuff.

The director and actors did a superb job at conveying the subtleties of human interaction and the social hierarchies of all the people present at the fateful reunion party.

Some other reviewers have been rather disdainful about Anna Odell's acting. However, I thought she was superb as this initially timid looking woman who is actually such a tower of strength that the crowd are not a match for her and sadly can only overpower her with physical violence. .
