It kinda made Jimi into a quite dislikable character... Not really caring about people and just wanting to get laid... Then the beating his girl twice, I'd never heard he was like that before. Is this true? I always thought he was just a chilled out kinda guy...

I'm doing my own research since it's clear that some people 'fell out' with this film and are bad-mouthing it, but so far the film all looks fair to me, with a lot of positives about Jimi in there
Pretty much a worthless film. Kathy Etchingham offered to work with the producers for accurate stories; she was not included, and in fact is so wrongly depicted that she has filed suit agaisnt the film makers. Plus, she is adamant that the portrayal of Jimi is not even close.
I trust her judgement; she was there, she was very close to Jimi. I would pass on this film altogether.
