Very sad that his estate would not let any of Jimi's music in the movie unless they had control of the film... Very sad..
I saw Jimi and the experience Long ago in the Flint Michigan IMA auditorium..
He broke a string, after we rushed the stage. and left early I think. I seemed like a very short concert.
I know why, but how can you make a Hendrix bio-flick with no Hendrix music?

Bummer for you that it ended early. That happened with my friends and I at one of the Led Zep shows in Chicago back in the day, when they quit after one hour, for some reason related to Page's health issues (too much partying?).
