Good study for aspiring musicians

Yeah, it lays on some cheese, doesn't use his music, etc. but a lot of kids see videos of Jimi at Woodstock or Monterrey and think he just appeared out of the sky, making this amazing music and transfixing audiences. In reality, people weren't interested in him at first, and shy "Jimmy" had to become "Jimi", and a lot of people had to help him get there. A lot of potential Hendrixes probably gave up before meeting a Linda or Chas to drive them to greatness.

TLDR: Don't give up on your dreams, kids. You never know who could walk into that empty club you're playing in, or be the second view your video gets on YouTube.
