Can someone remind me what happened to him?

Didn't jump or get thrown off of the Bay Bridge? He was being tortured by a Chinese gang because Sam owed them money, and they found his car abandoned on the bridge? It was after Hildy had her date with the coroner I think.

They suspected that he was thrown off the bridge but it turned out that he set that up to disappear.

He ran off. Then he had a heart attack while in a casino in Nevada. He was arrested in the hospital and brought back to San Francisco. He confessed to fraud.

That happened in episode 6.

It's hard to keep up...There's been so many side plots I don't care anymore.

That's how I felt last season and stopped watching the show in the middle of the season. I gave it another try this season and managed to get through.
