When she fed her husbands ashes to her dog I was in hysterics. She was fantastic! Leslie Manville, Max Fowler and Sophie Okonedo were the best parts of this show.

I thought it was funny scene, but I wondered why she did it as she seemed to be the one who loved the dog more and spoilt the dog. Why would she punish it.
shareYeah, I don't think a responsible dog owner would feed any burnt human remains to a dog (plus all the other fried c.rap she was feeding it! Poor thing...), but it was funny in the context of the show. If she'd had a cat it would have made good kitty litter too :D

I agree, she was absolutely brilliant! A lot of her scenes had me in hysterics. Great actress!
