The least they could do is credit the film but no, a Hollywood writer just rips it off, knowing he can get away with it a la The Hunger Games and Battle Royal. Hollywood has been ripping off Asian films for years without giving due credit.

But doesn't surprise me that this is a ripoff. Hollywood hasn't had an original thought in 10 or more years, generally speaking (Yes, there are some notable exceptions), if it wasn't for Asian and European film makers they'd all have folded up by now
agreed, but I dont think Hunger Game was a remake, cuz even though it have the same killing game, it have totally different plot. We can say its kind of little spin-off, or inspired by.
