This Show Was Bad, I Can't Believe NO ONE Saw This..... I Solved It.....

I solved the murder. There is no doubt I'm right. I can't believe no one (you), the defense, or the editors/producers "saw" this within the show.

Nasir didn't murder her, it's so laughable that they made this mistake. It is what completely destroyed this show in my opinion.

During the murder scene you see blood splattered everywhere. It is all over the wall, it is all over the lamp, it sprayed everywhere. That makes sense. A knife was placed in her 22 times. Each time it is lifted out of her, liquid is going to go all over the place. What's the mistake? Come on! It's soooo obvious! The blood would have splattered ALL OVER HIM. It would have been all over his (naked body) clothes, it would have been on his face, etc. But it wasn't. He was completely clean. The defense never brought that up!? They showed the photos of all the blood splattered everywhere and no one thought: "Hmmmm, if the blood splattered on the wall, than surely blood splattered all over him too"?

That completely ruined the show for me. I like to think of myself as a smart person. Usually when I watch these types of shows I solve the crime. That was so blatantly obvious that it bugged me from the very first episode. Not only that, but the other editing mistake within the first 5 seconds of the show when the professor writes "Stoke's Theorem:" on the chalkboard. Then they show the chalkboard from another angle a second later and it says "Stoke's Theorem" without the ":". I knew right there if the editors didn't catch that on the VERY FIRST episode within the first 5 seconds, that they were going to make other fatal flaws within the show. I was so right about that. Who ever made this show and edited it wasn't very smart nor very keen.

For a guy who thinks so highly of himself I dont understand if you are just an idiot. This is probably the most pretentious post I've seen in this thread

reply

That's your response to my observation? Don't be mad at me. I surely can't be the idiot for noticing it. I'm just excited about my discovery. I feel important. :-) I was the first person to notice the biggest flaw within this show. Who wouldn't feel great about that? ;-) It's just shocking that I'm the only person that noticed this HUGE mistake within the show. I can understand why people would get mad, since they didn't think about it.

reply

I felt the same way. There's even a shot of a shower head in the opening titles that would bug me every time it came up (though it looks like its there more to represent the prison).

However, it didn't change my opinion of the show. I did spend a lot of time hoping nothing contradictory to the lack of blood on him would come up and it didn't. If it turned out he had killed her then it'd be bad writing.

So why did I love the show if there's was this weird oversight? A couple of reasons. Firstly, it's 8 episodes and they can't cover everything. They tell you what you need to know, if the audience wants to come up with crazy theories then we can. Maybe he had a shower and blow dried his hair, I don't think we were shown anything that can prove or disprove that.

The big reason it doesn't matter though, and the thing you seemed to have missed, is the point of the entire show. It isn't "did he do it?" it's "will the system send him to jail for it?"

I know it's hard, but sometimes we need to just watch the show without disecting every little thing. And the editor didn't make a mistake, he made a choice to include a minor production design slip because the show is better with it in there than without. When you look at the big picture, small continuity errors are unavoidable and often unseen, so it rarely hurts to include them if it benefits the scene in other way.

I also wouldn't discount that the writers wanted us to think he was innocent from the start. If he's as innocent in our minds as he is in Jack's, then we're more likely to be critical of the judicial system, which is a big part of the show.

reply

Well if you are just trolling ,a good one. But if you are being serious then I am right ,you are an idiot. The flaw you are pointing was a topic of discussion ever since the episode first aired and has been mentioned around by many people here to claim he was in fact innocent. Also it means that the show runner intentionally did that to make it look like Naz was innocent and not to make leave out as a mistake to make a idiot like you a genius.

reply

I just watched the show. I watched all of the episodes over 2-3 days. I checked the first page of this forum and everyone keeps asking "Do you really think he did it?" and other questions similar. I read through these comments and NO ONE makes mention of what I'm stating. So if everyone knows what I know, then why is everyone so unsure of what happened? The show didn't INTENTIONALLY do that to make him look innocent. They just made a huge error within the show, just like the first 5 seconds with their editing mistake. Don't give them the benefit of the doubt. If so, then the show is showing that the police, the prosecutors, the judge, and the defense were are all idiots.

You are still mad at me for getting this correct. Don't be mad because I saw it and you didn't. You probably spent weeks coming to these forums trying to figure it out. I watched the first episode and figured out the biggest flaw.

reply

Wait. Are you serious? So many people have said what you echo here, weeks later, and you're convinced you have a unique idea? Lol. Thought you were messing around. You're absolutely retarded.

reply

Absolutely brilliant. I watched the show all at once. I binge watched the show. I wasn't on these forums weeks ago. So I came up with that idea by myself. It's like if two isolated tribes invented the same idea on two separate continents without making contact with each other in their history (like the Pyramids). I'm brilliant. Don't hate on greatness because you didn't come up with this idea.

reply

funny how lagoonfun or whatever his name is sounds just like donald trump. thinks he invented the world.

You didn't solve the murder you just knew it wasn't nasir from the start which pretty much 99% percent of people knew it wasn't lol i don't get why you are making out as you are a genious.

They had no other suspects except a man who had his dna and prints all over her, her place and a knife matching the murder weapon that was in his pocket. He fled from the scene of the crime and removed evidence to top it all off. They would need a ridiciculous ammount of proof and evidence to explain that it WASN'T him.

I am sure in only 8 episodes we didn't get to see every minute that would have been spent in the court room realistically, infact we obviously didn't. So really i dont understand what you are trying to say.

For such a genious why didn't you realise if the actual killer did take the missing knife then that makes the whole the killer wouldn't have known nasir was there from the stairs theory irrelevent because he would have had to go into the kitchen to get it. Or why did nas get semi dressed (he was wearing a t shirt) open up the refridgerator, get nothing out of it, turn and fall asleep leaving the refridgerator door open when he had amphetamines in his system which would have counter acted the ketamine.

What actually happened to the girl still isn't even clear even though it was definately that white guy in my opinion. Did he have a key or did he break in somehow. Did he go with malicious intent or was it an in the moment thing. Did he see naz or didnt he. Explain what actually happened in an intelligent way with no holes in your theory i would like to see it and see if i can break apart what you say because im confident i could.

reply

*Genius not genious.

It makes the show highly flawed because it makes the entire system look bad. It makes the prosecutors look awful and even worse the defense. It completely takes away from the show. I don't care what the point of the show was, you make a mistake of leaving that out and it makes your show seem sloppy. They made multiple editing mistakes too. I just can't take the show seriously after a huge oversight like that.

reply

Jesus Christ, finally you get it: the show was not very good and extremely unrealistic. Their apparent point was justice isn't doled out justly, or something, and we all knew that.

reply

That right there was my problem with the show. It started out as a decent murder mystery, but then quickly devolved into a PSA about the flaws and corruption in the American justice system. Also, I'm pretty sure one or more people who worked on this who have a serious personal vendetta against the NYPD.

reply

If you do what Nas did in episode one, you're getting charged with murder. He had created a lot of evidence against himself. But if he had done it, he could have showered and washed off the blood, if he killed her while he was naked.

reply

The forensic team would have scrubbed the bathroom for evidence. If he went to the shower with blood all over him it would have dripped in the bathroom. That theory is flawed because they never found evidence of that in the bathroom. That's the whole point of forensics. They spend days at a crime scene gathering evidence.

reply

You watched too much CSI or Bones, in reality police is almost never that thorough in their investigation and prefer to get a case closed as fast as possible. So indeed, the show is very realistic unlike all the dumb procedural shows.

reply

you stupid fck ,, he blacked out god knows how many hours ,, if he is a monstrous criminal while high on drugs ,, there is this thing called shower that he could have taken and not remembering ,,

idiot stupid fcker ,, you make the world worse for everyone

naz had sex with andrea, she falls asleep, he gets up, goes to the kitchen, maybe gets a drink of water, falls asleep on the bench. Its pointed out in the trial that from the stairs you cant see into the kitchen. At this point the murderer then goes into the bedroom, kills andrea and leaves. Naz wakes up, goes upstairs to get his clothes which were at the bottom of the bed. sees that shes dead and panics and leaves. So maybes thats WHY no blood was splattered all over him.

reply

I always assumed he was innocent and probably framed ... that was the point wasn't it... would he end up going down cos of 'evidence' 'opportunity' but absolutely no motive ... and by the time he did he was crack rock...

reply

Lagoonfun - you are just trolling right?
My family and I watched the show together and the blood issue was first brought up by my 14-year old daughter during episode one. We all noticed it. Anybody with a triple digit IQ noticed it.

But on a more serious note, your constant patting yourself on the back for this "discovery" that you think you made...that is a little disconcerting. Do you not get enough love from your parents? Are you being bullied at school? Do you not have any friends? What's going on in your life where you feel the need to brag on an internet forum to complete strangers about how "smart" you think you are? (On a side note, intelligent people never have to tell others how smart they are. Only dumb people have to do this - just for future reference and to save you from embarrassing yourself).

To be honest, your best bet would be to just delete this entire topic. I'm sure you are a nice kid. And it looks like your going through some crappy things in your personal life. This topic seriously makes you look like an idiot. Just delete it.

reply

The police/justic system dont care. They just wanted to take something to the jury.

reply

That's not a definitive defense for Nas. It could be argued that he could have changed clothes and washed himself off to blend in with society after leaving and disposed of the evidence.

reply

where would he of got the clothes to change into? where would he of hid the evidence? he woke up in the kitchen. went upstairs, got changed and seen the body, then panicked.
