I hate to admit this, but people who love to troll, insult, bash, swear are the ones that let this happen! I'm very sad to hear that it's shutting down, message board is my favorite section on IMDB.. :(

I feel that I'm losing a member of my family, without the message board, IMDB is nothing

Feel very disappointed, even though I truly confess that the haters annoyed me the whole way through but all of the users, I mean everyone, indirectly taught me how to do better in sarcasm, jokes, antics, banter and I swear to God, you guys made my days cause I laugh so hard that once in a while, my stomach ache (a good thing).

I used to be weak at sarcasm when involving a debate with friends but since I have used this application for 2 years, it keeps getting better and better.

Hate to say this but goodbye users. Hope we can talk again after this.

I've always said the trolls would destroy IMDb, but IMDB has no one to blame but themselves.

IMDb NEVER had a strong computer program in place to rid this place of vile obnoxious juvenile trolls.

The main reason IMDb made no effort to rid this place of trolls....EVERY post meant money for IMDb. I got his info from a reputable source. IMDb never cared 'who' posted, as long as there were thousands of posts, they were happy for any sort of traffic.

In fact, there was a disgusting racist sexist troll at a soap forum here, he/she boasted that they used "many proxy accounts" and they'd "never be thrown off of IMDb".

Despite YEARS of normal posters requesting that IMDb get a stronger computer program to block trolls...IMDb, DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.

It's not all that difficult to get rid of trolls. If other forums do it, there was no excuse for IMDb not to, except the money factor.

My ID has recently been CLONED for about the 5-6th time! I've lost count.

This TNO forum was great when the series first aired on HBO, then, the trolls started coming in and ruined yet another great forum.

One troll here boasted about being a troll, then told us all to put up with it or stop posting. Unreal.

Within the first few weeks of TNO being aired, this forum had about 50 pages of discussions, seems most of the original discussions about TNO have already been deleted.

When I joined in 2005, the IMDb forums were a great place for normal, lively and adult discussions, now, not so much.

The vile trolls will now have to find another place to congregate! They must all be having meltdowns about now..!! 
