I was just thinking I would like to watch a show where we know the guy committed a crime, and we watch him go through the legal system trying to get away with it. Are there any shows out there like this, other than Dexter or anything OJ Simpson related?

"Motive". I really enjoyed this series, unfortunately, it was cancelled.
Season 4 ended last Fall, it was cancelled in both the US and in Canada. IIRC, the series was filmed in Canada.
It was a very enjoyable crime drama.
