Watching this movie now and what the hell is this nut doing in a pet shop. I don't like movies that show animals that can possibly be abused. I'll finish it but I hope I don't see these animals hurt !!!!!!!

shareI was worried about the same thing. I hate how they sometimes use animal abuse in movies to show the extent of a character's mental illness. Makes me mad. There is enough abuse in real life and we don't need movies giving nut cases that abuse animals any more ideas.
shareOk just so you guys know no animals were harmed or have any issues after this movie. I work at the grooming shop where it was filmed and personally helped picked the dogs used in this movie, they all had a ton of fun doing this movie and now think they are movie stars lol.

I'm not bothered with a scene where you can see that an animal is going to be abused by a mentally ill person, but I don't think you have to either actually show the abuse or hear it being done off screen, even a little bit. Just slightly show the results of it, which is enough to show the dangerous mind of the person.
