Okay, wow. I'm done watching.

Too much sexism and drama for my tastes. Also, Jacob, Thomas and Todd were all picked off unfairly (seriously, when did Todd ever get mad aside from what just happened?) Whether it be by reality TV rules or the others just being a bunch of douches, people getting away with *beep* is beyond my tastes. If I had to choose one I want to win, I'd say Colby. But since I'm not watching anymore I guess I'll never know.

I was on Todd's side from the beginning. His team betrays him, he gets pissed off, which is understandable, makes a strong case for himself, but because he made that one girl cry (who cries over everything it seems)everyone vilified him. I think they should've had to apologize to him for bullying him from expressing himself, albeit a bit harshly, but I'm sorry, they deserved it. And I agree, the only likeable person left is Colby, mainly because I remember watching him on Jeopardy and he seems like a nice guy, even though he always has a smug look on his face. ha

reply

Yes, he was basically right in everything he said. Its just that its a house full of people sensitive as *beep* I wanted him to win the challenge until I realized how stupid he was...that was the easiest challenge I have ever seen on this show.

I don't see how you can guess anything but fire with "Prometheus"

He was over thinking all his choices. It's what happens when you think you are smarter than you are on a subject. I was laughing when he compared myths to comics. They aren't really comparable. Myths are the basis for ancient religions. They were viewed as real stories, just like many people view the Bible as real stories. Anyway, we didn't really get a good look at what all the choices were but you are right, fire should be the most obvious choice for Prometheus.

reply

Yeah, really easy challenge compared to others that have been done in the past. Though there did seem to be a couple examples of more than one item working for certain people. For example, I could have sworn I saw grapes as one of the items which would have worked for Dionysus.

reply

I'm totally with you Goliath...

reply

The girl with the glasses is the biggest pole of human filth ever. Todd was right, his team just bullied him out of the game. He stood up for himself and got vilified.

This just proves to show that even among nerds there's a cliche.

I wish that the producers would make a change to the format.
I say start off each episode with a mini challenge within each team. The winner then wins safety from nerd off if their team doesn't win main challenge. Or a chance to win safety after the challenge. The alliance would have been forced to vote in a member of their secret six if Kaitlin or Todd had won safety. That to me would stick more to what I perceive to be at the heart of this show.................That nerds are being treated better than they were by their peers growing up.
Todd was voted in because he's not in the alliance and they all acted like it was for some other reason. That cry baby girl (I call her that because I believe she cried as a manipulation) should have been first person voted in. These so called nerds are no better than the bullies they claim tormented them growing up. And no I don't buy but it's a game. They are the ones who claim that they know how to treat one another with fairness and kindness. Who is really being a bully. Wonder how the others will react when they find out what liars the secret six are. They voted in people for one reason and one reason only.............They weren't apart of the secret six.

Producers change format.

Six people made an alliance. What is so difficult to understand about that? Of course they're not going to say why they are voting out Todd. It would be idiotic to do so. Todd had as good a chance to win the nerd off as anybody, if not better. Going into the nerd off doesn't mean a player is automatically off the show. Players can blame the Six for sending them into the nerd off but NO ONE can blame the Six for losing the nerd off. Props to Kaitlin for hanging in there.

reply

Exactly Ronnie. The only person he has to blame for him losing is himself because he decided to not study.

This season seems so scripted, it's all about the fan favorites this season it seems. I feel bad for Todd, Heather is the one that needs to go she doesn't even know anything used in this game show. She thinks just cause she is a Neroscientist she thinks everyone else is beneath her.

I've heard rumors that the dirty little secret about reality shows like this is that the producers/writers come up with situations and even lines for the people to say in order to boost ratings. The fact is that real life is a bit boring.

We also know that they shoot the season over the course of maybe a few weeks or a month and then spend plenty of time editing it all together. The editing process is done so that drama is created out of nothing, or someone is somehow only shown on screen when they are talking smack, and surprise, they lose out on the nerd off.

All these reality game shows do this stuff so we'll watch it and come on here and talk about it.

I view shows like this as a learning experience first, entertainment second (let's be honest, this show is pretty lame in the entertainment department!).

reply

O the drama.

Nobody exists on purpose. Nobody belongs anywhere. Everybody's gonna die. ...Come watch TV?

The team decided to vote Todd before he went off. Todd took on a massive oart of the nerd war, his parts didn't work out, so they decided to vote him in. Then he went off and set tensions throughout he team that would affect them throughout the experience of he remained, regardless of whether he was "right" or not. They seemed to kinda forgive him, but he still lost the war for their team.

Thomas was voted in by his team because he was the weak link. Simple aa that.

Jacob was the only one that was truly unfair, no explanation whatsoever.
