5.5?!?!?! And a freaking THIRTEEN on metacritic?

In fact, this movie is a solid 7. Great action sequences, excellent cinematography, thrilling scenes, nice romantic subplot, tightly paced and I thought the parkour scenes were excellent. Taylor Lautner did a great job in the role, opting to do many of the stunts himself.

This was a fun action flick with Chinese mobsters and parkour thrown in. What's not to like? Why are people so down on this film (and Lautner), pathetically going so far as trying to claim this is the WORST movie ever made? Really, the worst? Go through the Bottom 100 on IMDB and dare to come back to this forum and claim that Tracers was the worst film ever made.

No one ever said this was Citizen Kane. It's a very enjoyable, taut, thrilling action flick. Why are people dumping all over it for that?

Total bs. Tracers was a good movie and the soundtrack. The parkour and stunts were crazy. Taylor is really talented. He does, however have distractors that are envious. Their issue, not his. As long as he continues doing projects he enjoys, critics will notice his acting skills , some already have.

It certainly seems to be a step forward if these review aggregate rating sites are anything to go by. It's rated more than five times higher than Abduction on Rotten Tomatoes.

vivacious_dan sometimes I hate giving movies a numerical rating and while this is no classic it definitely was something different. It was an action flick that was different than the usual. Watching all that parkour was a thrill and then to be able to tie it into this criminal element / gang / whatever as their means of getting things done was really cool. Also for the people out there who love romance thrown in this movie had that too. For me this movie definitely was a nice surprise. When I read a little up on it I thought it was going to be a disaster but it was far from that. The ending to the movie was also what I think many of us watching it wanted to see. This definitely was a solid movie.

In the 9th minute on netflix you see this guy in a blue shirt like three times, Whats that about its plain as day i saw it the first time. Also he moves so its noticeable. I would guess boom mic cause i don't see arms.

Lautner is not that good of an actor for A movies, in B movies he could be a star.
