Show that video, and I'm out!

I don't care how well I knew everyone, or how close I was to them.

I know it's easier to say that when you know you're watching a movie, but that was just morbid. That is nothing that someone should be showing at a evening get-together. And then this fool talks about killing his wife? Clues started to add up for sure.

But it wasn't a bad movie. Got pretty intense.

The guests asked about their retreat in Mexico and what they learned and how to accept death (the death of their loved ones as it was a grief healing group). They wanted to show others not to fear death and that their loved ones are not truly gone or in a bad place (and of course later we know it has a double meaning -- not to fear dying yourself to escape the pain and grief).

So they showed them a clip and discussed it. A couple said they couldn't believe they showed it and expressed unease but then David and Eden and Pruitt and Sadie explained why and David even apologized if it came off like they were trying to force their ideas on anyone. I wouldn't have left at all, especially if these were my good friends.
