these are all similar in plot and tone:
MARTHA MARCY MAY MARLENE - riveting, haunting, relentlessly suspenseful... Elizabeth Olsen's debut and an unforgettable performance at that!
KILL LIST - one of the most terrifying, mind-bending, and ambiguous films ever... watch it with subtitles though otherwise the Scottish accents, particularly with this film, are almost totally indecipherable
THE CONSPIRACY
SOUND OF MY VOICE

similar in plot but not in tone:
FAULTS (darkly humorous)
RED STATE (action elements as well as satire/dark humor)
GREEN ROOM

similar in tone but completely unrelated plot:
THE GIFT (2015)
BLUE RUIN

I don't see any connection to The Green Room.

green room is the same kind of movie

A familliar normal event concert gone wrong in one moment .
The small group dont really know what is going on and how far the horror will be.

It is the same kind of movie.
One event at one place trapt one night going worse and worse every minute.

Normal people who are not sure if they are going to be ok or not

Bad guys lying and saying that everything is safe and fine and that the group is just over reacting
Strong cult klan leader able to make any people he know do every horrible murder he want.
Member starting to get doubt about what they are doing at the end...

THe difference is
Young 20s punk vs nazi group
30s rich vs cult

The build up last 40 min in green room then 1 h of trying to survive
the invitation is 90% build up and 15 min fight
