What is wrong with his ex wifes face?

Her face looks strange to me like her lips or something... probably plastic surgery.. horribly ugly looking.

Bad plastic surgery. Her lips have too much filler. They were very distracting.

I mean she was playing a rich L.A. woman...

Pobre de Dios que no sale en revistas, que no es modelo ni artista, o de familia real...

^this. She fit the role flawlessly. Amazing casting for this.

I thought the same thing watching the movie. Having knowing absolutely nothing about this movie except the one sentence I read on Netflix, for a time I was thinking based on the way she looked and the fact her teeth even looked weird this might be a vampire movie. I even looked to see if her teeth were so vangy looking in the flashbacks and noticed they never really showed them. When she was in the bathtub with her husband he kept his arm weirdly placed over her face so you couldn't see her mouth.

Honestly it's just the actresses face. I've seen her in a lot of films throughout the years and she's always had big fish lips. Her forehead has full mobility so I doubt she's had much Botox if any at all. I happen to think she's a great actress.

It was pretty distracting and she's obviously had tons of work done, but I thought she did a great job overall. Easily the creepiest character in the entire film.

reply

Really though, I think you're forgetting that she's always had huge lips and a large mouth. She's older than she was when she first started acting and her face hangs differently than it used to.

reply

Totally agreed - couldn't look at her.

I first saw Tammy Blanchard in Guiding Light in possibly 1998 playing a teen and even then she had incredibly full lips. I think she has always looked very similar to Judy Garland (who she played in a biopic) and I think he lips are natural. They haven't changed at all. I am usually suspicious of lips and the absence of forehead wrinkles on actresses but I believe she is the real deal.

Yes, she was a dead ringer for the young Judy Garland that she portrayed up through The Wizard Of Oz and the early 1940's in "Me And My Shadows: Life With Judy Garland".

Plastic surgery, botox, lip injections, etc.

However, it fits for this movie because she looked creepy.

reply

Yeah definitely plastic surgery.
