I'm so happy that there's finally a network that lets its shows develop over time, and build a following.
Too many networks prefer the "now or never" method, and it's resulted in network TV tanking in the ratings. Thanks, FX, for renewing this show for a second season!
I'm very surprised by that. Unlike Seinfeld, or even C.K., I don't think Jim's standup translates well to a scripted series.

the best episodes focus on the story and don't waste time letting Jim monologue stuff at people, like the robbery episode and the Andy Dick episode.
