this show is exactly like willred, agree?

Jim is basically the equivalent of the dog. An Australian guy who speaks every thought that comes out of his head and basically teaches a stiff guy who worries too much about life to loosen up.

I think the difference is that Steve really loosened up faster than Ryan

I would't say it's "exactly" like Wilfred, but both do have their similarities. Aside from the obvious, both have an Australian main character, both shows are set in California, contain massive amounts of drug use, and share a similar style of course humor. The differences are that Wilfred is more story driven, meaning that more emphasis is put on the events of passed episodes and everything plays into everything else. Legit is more focused on its premise than anything, and is very different than Wilfred in many ways. Jim is also nowhere near as manipulative as Wilfred was, and in my opinion, not as likable as a character. Wilfred always had something going on behind the scenes, and had a reason for doing and saying what he did, whereas Jim prefers to just wing it most of the time.

By season two, Steve was crazier than Jim.

Also I liked this show way better than Wilfred. Wilfred was enjoyable when it started but started to become a chore to watch during the last few seasons I thought.

Um, not even close. The entire point of the show is that Jim is trying NOT to be the same sh_thead he'd been up until that point. Also, Wilfred is pretty centrally about a mentally-ill young man and the pathetic isolated existence that's slowly destroying his life.

Be honest, you saw an Aussie actor ripping a bong and just shut down from that point?

reply

I think you really are just hung up on the fact that both shows have Australian actors and they both aired on FX. Beside that, there is no similarity whatsoever.
