2014 Cannes competition!

So glad this was added to the competition lineup.

His section of 3x3D last year was called by one critic (in Film Comment), "The best film, at the festival", while shunning Greenaway and Pera's entries.

It is so inspiring to see a filmmaker, late in their career, still innovating and breaking new ground. Very rare even among the greats.

This films proves that innovation alone does not make a film watchable-- even for Godard, who bored us beyond belief with Weekend, this is a new low.. a series of unconnected vignettes, most of which are simply ugly outtakes of home movies, do not make a feature film either.. if this was an art film from the 60s, the audience would have booed.. coming from the man who made Breathless and Pierrot le Fou, this is an unforgivable waste of his time and ours - DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME ON THIS NONSENSE

My only regret in life is that I'm not someone else - Woody Allen

How is he innovating and breaking new ground when he's been making variations of the same film for decades.
