Odd Man Out - sounds familliar???

There's also a Carol Reed film from 1947 with the same name about a wounded IRA man who's trying to evade capture by the police, I've read that this is one of Polanski's favourite films and greatly impressed him when he was a boy. I think this is the likely inspiration for the films title.
