I'm guessing that guy is a professional killer, despite his amateurish fighting skills and how messy he made the whole thing so he would have checked for a pulse before disposing of the body, right?

Honestly, I don't even know why they had her back this season. She's been completely useless.

Was it so that the change of lead would go down easier?

It's interesting to see how they'll explain her survival. But yes actress was booked for all 20 episodes for 2015-2016, so she's alive.

I was ready to find out in episode 5 but the episode was a repeat of episode 4. Oh well.... maybe one day soon that will be fixed.

Well she wasn't in episode 5 but it shows her as being in episode 6, 7 and 11.

We shall see. Great episode though.

She's not dead you nimrods, why would they have her come back for only 4 episodes when if in reality if they wanted her replaced they could have done so before the season started. Interesting episode however and I although I almost gave up I will continue to watch and see if she will pull a Michael Phelps and swim her way out of the stinking icy cold garbage juice....LOL

I was so mad that they didn't show her this episode. It was crazy that Ethan didn't try to track down her body. I think she is still alive because it is her show and she hasn't taken down the people who murdered her son yet. I hate when shows keep you hanging like this. I also hate the overall storyline this season. I don't care what happens to anyone but Grace and Ethan. Although, the writers could make the characters more likable.

I think the storyline of her murdered has been concluded. She did actually shoot the detective who in fact shot her son. so technically, she did take down the person who killed her son.

The problem with the show is that Season 3 is in a different direction from the previous Seasons, it seems like a whole different show.

They should have kept the show centered around the docks and pier and the Lazslo boy and his wife and his interaction with the bent police chief Campbell.

I loved seasons 1&2 but season 3 seems like a completely different
show. I am surprised that Thandie Newton could pull off being a bad a**
ROGUE detective so imagine my disappointment when it seems that she has
been killed off. I understand the need for new blood because I love
Coles character but Grace character is being treated like a "cameo"
appearance. Please bring back Grace fulltime and Jimmy to mix it up.

According to the show's credits she returns in the 7th episode so we shall see. I can't imagine her being killed off her own show, makes NO sense.

I'll power through this one, but since I'm 100% sure Grace is dead then this will be my last season. I don't like any of the new characters enough to care beyond them wrapping up Grace's story, although the story itself this season isn't terrible at all. Where as I used to watch it intently, now I just have it playing in the background while I'm doing other things.

Jimmy and Grace were the best characters....Ethan is a close 3rd though.

Ethan however went from bad guy to sort of good guy by turning himself in. So I'm not sure where they are going with this... it's interesting though. He's tired of running.

Yea... Grace is dead. Moving on to Westworld.

Crazy how a show headlining actress is simply killed off, lol...so weird.

yeah, I just read on Wikipedia that she is in fact dead, which means that I am done with the show unfortunately . I am not in love with this season and I can't believe they killed of the main character of the show.

You are telling me.... It was like with no REAL warning either. Just ok... Grace sinking into Garbage as if she WAS garbage.... almost insulting to her character to die like that with no send off. Just DEAD....

I will finish off this season just to have closure but no more for me after this. It's supposed to have a 4th but no thanks.

I suspect it was Thandie who decided to leave for Westworld,so the programme makers decided-out of anger-to kill her off in the worst way possible.

Well, it would've been hard for them to have her escape a second attempted strangulation just episodes apart, but the writing was on the wall for Grace from the first episode when they placed Thandie's name last in the credits. It just would've been better/more acceptable for me if they hadn't discarded her character and storyline the way they did.

I doubt they did it by choice. The show was on the bubble after season 1 for lack of viewers and Newton got pregnant. Then she got better gigs and told them she wanted to leave. What do you propose they do? Chain her on the set until the season is over?

It's not as if her character was particularly interesting, or even likable anyway. I've been enjoying season 3 much more than season 2 because they had more characters to develop a story around. Season 2 was a boring mess.

I had saved the episodes to watch while everything was on hiatus so I just got to them now. When she died, I was shocked. I kept waiting for her to move and take a breath. Then I came here and found out she wasn't coming back. Suddenly, I feel no real interest in even finishing out this season because I wanted to see Grace and Ethan working together to take down those jerks. I'm not sure I will watch any more of the episodes and I know I definitely won't be watching any future seasons. Grace was pretty much the only reason I continued to watch the show this season at all. :(

Maybe you should just WATCH the damn show, instead of posting such a ridiculous assumption!

By the end of Ep 3 we see that the Ashley Greene character offers A LOT more than just a pretty face, including a surprise connection regarding Grace's disappearance! I won't reveal any Spoilers here... but this show is once again heating up... and could easily become the best season of them all!
