Not bad. Worthy of a rental.

"The Scribbler" is an interesting movie about a woman with multiple personalities. The Dr is treating her via a new method that may cause more bad than good. Several characters are on display in this very dark world where the mentally ill take refuge in a building away from everyone else. Katie Cassidy plays the lead and she is good in some scenes and not quite there in others. Michelle Trachtenberg is the most interesting in the film and other names include Eliza Dushku, Billy Campbell, Gina Gershon, and former porn star Sasha Grey. This is based on a graphic novel and elements of that are portrayed well at the end. This is a movie that will have you thinking about it after you view it. It is worthy of a rental. ** 1/2 out of 4 stars.
