This has nothing to do with your question, but as a glee fan that part made me laugh a little because of Will Schuster teaching Spanish because music didn't work out too well.
I find it odd that if she went into teaching that she didn't do so for music.

shareThat was weird. Claudia was the hype in the early 70's, she was the sexy, outgoing "Ikette", and then she had all that flirting with Mick Jagger... and now she's teaching spanish for about 15 years?
I thought she was a music teacher too! And I'm pretty sure she's not *that* fluent on spanish (in Japan, in order to became a spanish or english teacher, you must handle the language as a native language, I realise it's not that way in USA).
It's sad that she's away from singing, I guess she was too young and didn't know how to deal with all that, but she has a great talent. I guess it happens to people with tha kind of personality.

Sad but true. So many talented musicians languish in the background, while so many mediocre ones rise to the forefront for whatever reason. There's certainly nothing wrong with teaching Spanish – or anything else for that matter – but it's unfortunate Claudia didn't have the career she deserved.

This was on OWN tonight and I thought the same thing. She didn't sound like someone that had four years of college to be teaching Spanish. It sounded like she was speaking beginners Spanish.
I, also, wondered how she was able to afford college when prior to this she mentioned how broke she was that she was unable to pay her gas bill when she was a singer. Maybe she came into some money after that. I loved her with Ike and Tina Turner.

I see her as a success. She was a sexy icon in her youth and later became a teacher, showing that she was not just a pretty face and hot body.
