Censored Scenes?

As everyone knows, this series is infamous for being butchered by the MPAA. Do you think there's any chance of the censored violent scenes making its way into this documentary? I know there was SOME of the edited footage on the box set Paramount released a while back, but it was only some of the footage for only a couple of the films. The first 10 films were given an X or NC-17 rating when originally submitted to the MPAA, but only the 1st and 9th films (Jason Goes to Hell) have been released fully uncut. Anyone think there's a chance of the rest of the films having their cut footage in this documentary? That would make me the happiest of all fans!

I don't know if they can. Some stores will not carry an unrated film. So that puts a damper on sales! I think a documentary can be done on just the cut scenes from all the "Friday" films

For this documentary to stand out they need to have "FANS" submit questions.

All of the cut footage from parts two through seven is either missing or destroyed. All that remains is some alternate TV cut footage and VHS copies of workprints, which the latter was used to make the deleted scenes on Parts six and seven. Unfortunately, as for now, that's all that remains.

PAramount isn't really looking (or looked very hard) for the "MISSING GORE". Paramount starting 1/1/204 is going to outsource the majority of their catalog (OLDER FILMS) to Warner Brothers. So maybe Warner Brothers might open up the checkbook and dig deep for the missing footage.

The Negative for all these movies are kept in duplicate all over the country. Trust me the footage is not Miaaing its just a huge expense to print from a negative. Plus the negatives themselves most likely need to be restored..

I would love to see the JGTH scenes that never made it to DVD, a lot of scenes were on the DVD, but mostly TV scenes, the scenes with Creighton Duke and the waitress' boyfriend were left out, more character development too, don't know why it was left out
