What Franchise should they cover next ?!

I would really love a documentary about "Childs Play" because the series has never been really well covered. There are so much behind the scenes infos I would like to know about (Especially for Part 2,my favorite)but the issue with Childs play is that it is still ongoing so if they make a doc now and a new one comes out it will no longer be a definite guide to the franchise.
After there is "Hellraiser" , there we can be sure that they will have tons of material to cover.
And what about "Halloween" I'm pretty sure that franchise is now dead and burried after the failure of Part two (Seriously what happend? Rob Zombie can do much better then that?!)So it will be the perfect time for a definite doc on this franchise.
So what would you guys like to see next ?

I agree with Child's Play. I'd also love to see someone make a (well-done) doc on the Scream franchise. The ones that have been made already are pretty basic and shallow, and all of the on-set drama during Scream 3 and especially Scream 4 would be really interesting if someone would really take a deeper look at it.

Definitely Halloween. It's been a while since I watched 25 years of Terror and I don't think it was as comprehensive as it could've been at least not on the level of NSA.

I think Poltergeist would be interesting, especially with the rumors/legends surrounding the franchise.

And if we can get into TV, I don't think I've ever seen a Twilight Zone or Tales from the Crypt documentary. Twilight would be nice because of the influences it derived from as well as the influences it has had on cinema/tv too.

I agree with Poltergeist , there are a lot of interesting facts surounding those films ... Especially the rumors that Spielberg actually directed most of the first film...

For "The Twilight Zone" , I remember there was a really good doc about it and Rod Sterling. I am not sure if it was from the BIO channel or an episode from THS but it was really well made....

Halloween
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre
Jaws (with the sequels getting as much attention as the original)

Copied and pasted. I agree!

Hope they make these happen.

This is a great question, and I hope this crew will do couple more documentaries about horror franchises in the future. My top-5 picks would be (in order):

1. Halloween
2. Hellraiser
3. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre
4. Night of the Demons
5. The Poltergeist

reply

I'd say HALLOWEEN.

There's already a two-hour documentary on SCREAM that Daniel Farrands made.
I don't mean to impose, but I am the Ocean.

Halloween
The Amityville Horror
Children of the Corn
The Omen
Hellraiser
George Romero's "...Of the Dead"
Child's Play

I've been waiting for you, Ben.

I love @ horror2's list. I could do without a Child's Play doc though. I only liked the first movie.

I would love a comprehensive doc on some of the Universal Monsters like Creature From The Black Lagoon, It Came From Outer Space, Tarantula, This Island Earth, etc..

Maybe one on disaster movies!!!

Not really , there was an achor bay release of the film that had quite a lot of special feature if I recall ...

reply

I checked, it barely had anything besides a brief documentary and some b-roll footage of the cast/crew plus a commentary. The bitrate is horrible to boot.

Phantasm 2 on Blu-ray/DVD has tons more material due to containing new features and stuff from the U.K. versions. Still the rest of the series is lacking.

Sleepaway Camp

Halloween, hands down. I'm happy that we got to see boobs in the 25 Years of Terror documentary, though.

Evil Dead. There is only four movies though, including the remake, but there's also a video game.

I wouldn't mind a Leprechaun documentary. Sure it's not the first thing they would pick, but it's a fun laughable movie series.

3 Ninjas franchise.

JK, hell no.

Halloween for sure. That company does awesome doc's. Legacy of Freddy was great too.

scream. There were two documentaries but haven't been released in the UK so maybe if this company do scream then everyone will get to see it. Especially now there are four screams not just three
