Melanie Kinnaman and Don Behrns

They both interviewed for the book and documentary and other people that worked on the films kind of hinted around that they weren't easy people to work with

I can't remember who said in their interview that Melanie was expecting to be shuttled to and from the set in a limo on such a low budget film but it just struck me as funny (DIVA!)

Don Behrns was made out to be a penny pinching sleaze that was cutting corners everywhere he could but the story about the cooler that the crew put on top of the RV when it crashed and got destroyed was pretty funny ....I think the chick that played Lizbeth (director's wife) mentioned it was a pricey cooler that he was going to take and keep for himself and the crew found out and were like "fvck that!" and it made me laugh. the dude seemed like as ass!

there were probably other tensions on the set of the other sequels but they weren't really talked about

in the book people were kind of badmouthing one another both cast and crew which made for an interesting read. Wish some of that would've been covered but I liked the documentary over all!

They did talk about tension on one other set and that was part 5s director being basically a sleazeball jerk to everyone.

The only real tension on the rest of the films was the MPAA constantly making them cut things and the sad fact that most if not all that footage has been destroyed so we will never see true directors cuts with all the kills intact.

The vibe I got was the set was a fun place for all the movies except for the one with the garbage director and the producer you mention made it difficult in part 6 but not for the cast just the director and crew BUT despite not getting the tools they needed they still had a good time
