A lot of seems like a re-hash of 'His Name Was Jason'.
It just seems like an extended edition of that first documentary to me. Feldman's intro was pretty lame. The Elm Street one was a lot better in my opinion.

shareMaybe it's me, but I do think a lot of footage from HIS NAME WAS JASON was reused in this. Two different Tom McLoughlins appear.

It might be a rehash but His Name is Jason was very badly put together
shareThis one is far more comprehensive. Its like 7 hours long.
shareBut this is done so much better. His Name was Jason seemed scatterbrained, unfocused and the way it was edited made it jump from movie to movie. It was just a jumbled mess and I honestly couldn't get through it. I ejected it before the 30 minute mark. Crystal Lake Memories was put together in a much more careful, thorough, thoughtful even way. I loved how each film got its own "episode". As a fan, this was a real treat and I loved every minute of it. This and Never Sleep Again are neck and neck for my favorite franchise documentaries.
