7th=12
8th=13
9th=14
10th=15
11th=16
12th=17
I coach 13-14 year olds, they are generally between 6th and 9th grade. Some kids are 15 by the time they finish Middle School and some are still 13. Date of birth and parental choices play a role in that.
Just because your son was those ages in those grades does not mean EVERYONE is. Seriously, could you be any more egocentric?

His use of wording wasn't completely incorrect because it's very apparent that you think you and your son are the center of the world and everything around you has to happen the exact way it happened to you. News flash: it doesn't work that way. I just happened to start kindergarten later than average because I went to a private school.
